Before we start

A few things that help set expectations.
Why does design take time even when it looks simple?
01
Good design is a lot of small decisions.
Trying different directions, fixing spacing that’s slightly off, adjusting proportions until everything feels balanced. The goal is something that looks effortless, but getting there usually takes a few rounds of refining.
Why can a logo take hours to create?
02
Because the first idea is rarely the best one.
I explore multiple concepts, refine the strongest direction, and build variations that work across different uses. A logo also needs to grow with your brand, not just work for one moment.
Why does simple design look easy but isn’t?
03
Simple is usually the hardest to get right.
There’s nowhere to hide. Every detail matters, so it takes more time to make sure everything feels intentional and balanced.
Why does website pricing vary?
04
Because websites are not just visuals.
There’s structure, content flow, tone, and making sure everything actually works properly. Some projects are straightforward, others take more time to get right.
What if I don’t like the design?
05
That’s part of the process.
Projects include revision rounds so we can refine things together. If we end up going in a completely different direction or stopping early, work completed up to that point is still paid.
Do you use AI?
06
Yes, but it’s a tool, not the work.
It can help speed things up, but it does not replace decision making, taste, or experience. Every final design is shaped by a real person.
What do you need from me to get started?
07
Just the basics.
A bit about your business, what you’re looking for, and any ideas you already have. You don’t need to have everything figured out, that’s what I’m here for.
